We have long been battling with the the concept of health awareness campaigns and their efficacy. We work hard to tailor each of our campaigns to make sure they effectively engage with our target cohort to make them as meaningful and as accessible as possible. The work that BHI does to bring health campaigns to the heart of marginalised communities is essential to combat the cultural myths and taboos around ill health, it’s origins and it’s treatment; and it’s working… but only just.
