BME Cancer Voice

BHI’s programme which was launched at the House of Commons in 2014. The only BME national cancer programme in the UK. We produced a report evidencing the disparities and health inequalities.

We work closely with the larger cancer charities aiding them to reach diverse communities, ensuring inclusion in every aspect of cancer programmes. BHI through BME Cancer Voice was instrumental in developing the ‘hair loss’ services in partnership with MacMillan Cancer Support, commissioned to raise awareness of prostate cancer in black men nationally for Prostate Cancer UK.
